How to get the gold dragon known as St. Akigowa and the Dark Dragon.
First you have to beat the dragon queen with Akigowa transformed. This will let you turn into the Gold Dragon or St. Akigowa
I put stats into all speed with endurance you could probably use speed imprints.
then you go to vertex and you use the gold dragon to defeat the dark dragon using the same stats going all to speed
Oh and if you tried killing the dark dragon without learning the light move SEAL on your gold dragon. Just slap yourself! :)
sooo.... I already slapped myself (lol) does that mean the dark dragon won't appear to me again and I won't be able to transform him into the dark image??

you can still beat the queen (dragon's lair) and the dark (verter) dragon from the regular quests
